In the middle of the courtyard, there is a plane tree which provides cool shade even on hot days. The village can be reached via a separate driveway and gate. This little house was converted in 1995 and is comfortably and stylishly furnished. The large living/dining area is a great place to relax with four sets of doors and windows to front and rear, creating an attractive Mediterranean feel. A modern wood burning stove is set in the old stone fireplace and the beautiful wooden ‘coffin’ ceilings give the room character and interesting focal points.

The Adega House is a converted wine distillery, next to the impressive old ‘Adega’ wine cellar with its massive oak barrels and stone fermenting baths, where every year our wine is fermented and aged. The family friendly Adega House has its own driveway to a cobbled courtyard, where on hot days guests can eat in the shade of the olive trees. It is built in the style of a Portuguese village house and is simply and comfortably furnished.

It was built with all comforts in mind, blending into the landscape and using historical building techniques and materials. There is an attractive covered terrace with lawn for meals so guests can make the most of the glorious views over the vineyards.
