To Commit or Not To Commit

By Amy Jarczynski and Rosh Disch

Although you're about to make the biggest commitment of your life in marriage, you may not have decided on your wedding gown just yet, or perhaps you're still in love with multiple styles.  One of the hottest trends, we're seeing straight off the runways are the ever popular detachable skirts. Withstanding the test of time, detachable skirts allow Brides their dramatic entrance in a ball gown with the sleek and chic maneuverability of a mermaid or sheath silhouette as the reception progresses. Fans of the detachable skirt can go from cathedral length to above the knee with the quick undoing of a few snaps and buttons.  Now every fashionista bride can have that dress change effect without purchasing 2 separate dresses.  Here are a few of the shape changers we love these days.

The overskirt allows this sculptured mermaid gown a fuller, ethereal look while giving the bride two very distinct gowns to dance the night away.
